AIbility is a new company, but not a new team. Before founding it, we delivered complex technology projects for established organisations across manufacturing, distribution, social housing and financial services — implementing core systems, building bespoke software, and connecting it all together. Here's a sample of that track record.
ERP & bespoke software
A single source of truth for a long-established textiles group
The challenge The Behrens Group — a long-established textiles manufacturing, sourcing and distribution business — needed to run finance, stock, purchasing and sales from one connected system, rather than a patchwork of disconnected tools and manual processes.
What we did We implemented Intact iQ, a wholesale-and-distribution ERP, end to end — mapping how the business actually works, configuring the system to match, migrating legacy data, and rolling it out with training and support. Alongside the core ERP we built bespoke quoting and forecasting tools that plug straight into it via its API — pulling live stock, pricing and customer data so quotes are accurate, and using sales history to drive demand forecasting and replenishment.
The outcome Finance, stock, sales and operations now run from one source of truth, with bespoke quoting and forecasting layered on top — turning everyday data into faster quotes and smarter stock decisions.
Data & sustainability analytics
Carbon and ESG reporting across major corporate estates
The challenge Facilities providers and the financial institutions they serve face growing pressure to measure and report carbon emissions accurately — pulling data from across sprawling building estates into auditable, compliance-ready reporting they can stand behind.
What we did We implemented IBM Envizi, an enterprise ESG and sustainability platform, for ISS — a global facilities management provider — and two major UK retail banks, connecting building data such as utility bills and meter readings, configuring locations and emissions factors, and building the reporting needed to track Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions against recognised frameworks.
The outcome A single, auditable view of emissions data, with the reporting to back up real sustainability commitments — replacing fragmented spreadsheets with finance-grade, traceable ESG data.
Cloud & system integration
Connecting a national housing provider's systems on Azure
The challenge The Guinness Partnership — one of the largest affordable-housing providers in England, managing tens of thousands of homes — needed its core housing management system to share data cleanly with the rest of its systems, without slow, error-prone manual re-keying.
What we did We built API-led integrations on Microsoft Azure connecting NEC Housing (the housing management system, formerly Northgate / NPS) to other line-of-business platforms — using Azure integration services to move data reliably between systems and automate handoffs that had been done by hand.
The outcome A more joined-up view of tenants and properties, with data flowing automatically between NEC Housing and surrounding systems on a scalable, cloud-hosted integration layer.
Bespoke software & APIs
Custom MES software for the factory floor
The challenge Doosan, a global industrial manufacturer, needed real-time control and visibility on the factory floor — bridging the gap between its business systems and the machines, and capturing production data as it happened.
What we did We designed and built bespoke MES (Manufacturing Execution System) software and APIs — connecting shop-floor equipment to business systems, capturing production and quality data in real time, and exposing it through custom APIs for tracking, scheduling and OEE reporting.
The outcome Real-time production and quality data flowing from the shop floor into reporting and the wider business — a custom-fit system built around how the plant actually runs.
